Infant & Toddler Programs: Les petits à Smith Street Workshop

Le petit workshop: Art atelier (2.5-4 yrs without caregivers)
April 19th  - June 21st

Oui! A French art class for toddlers. Sign up for one or both afternoons. During playful exploration the children will learn specific vocabulary associated with their discoveries and artwork. Le petit workshop will explore colors, shapes, insects and "petites bêtes," the changing seasons.. The small class size will enable the children to be active learners. 
10 children maximum per class

Activities include... 
- Sailboats and ships: folding paper
- Insects: collage with paint and cut paper
- Seasons: the colors of winter and spring, creating a landscape
- Herbarium: pressed leaves with cut paper and tempera paint
-Graphics: snails, spirals, tracing on paper

The children will not only learn traditional French music, but they will also experience Anath's original songs as they play with rhymes, tonal and rhythm patterns, and instrumental play-alongs. Each child will participate in his/her own developmental level by singing moving, chanting, listening, observing and exploring French music.

For this drop off class for 2 to 4-year-olds, the kids will engage in a bit more dance & advanced rhythms than the little ones. They will also play with rhymes, tonal and rhythm patterns, and instrumental play-alongs. Each child will participate by singing, moving, chanting, listening, observing & exploring French music.
