In addition to our individual and group tutoring sessions, this fall we are offering several homework help programs. Sometimes all kids need is a quiet space with a devoted, focused hour to complete work outside of school. As many of us know too well, homework can be a significant source of stress between parents and their children, and it is surprising (if a little maddening) how quickly and efficiently the work can be completed when that dynamic is removed. Our teachers know how to support independence in homework while also assuring a meaningful understanding of the material and the task at hand.

Both regulars and drop-ins welcome! See below for class options.

If the timing does not work for your schedule, email us about starting your own class! All we need is 5+ students to create a new class.

Students in Grades 2-3 can now participate in a personalized Homework Help program at the Workshop. Regulars are encouraged, but drop-ins are welcome too! In this class, kids will be grouped at tables according to their grade. One of our amazing elementary teachers will lead the class with an assistant. 1 adult per 5 students maximum is guaranteed (no more than 10 students per class).  Teachers will do their best to ensure that homework is understood and completed, to explain any notion that may need reinforcement, and to challenge students wanting to learn more about a subject. When homework is finished, and if there is time left, students get to play fun educational games and activities. Biggest perk: kids get to go home and relax (homework free) afterwards!
