Guillaume Gatteau

Guillaume grew up in France and graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique in 2006, majoring in Mathematics and Finance. He then moved to New-York City to work for a French bank for 10 years. In 2017, he transitioned into teaching and became a math tutor, eager to show how mathematics can be applied outside of school. Guillaume’s teaching style brings the best of his past experiences from both French and American cultures, always with a little touch of fun and creativity.

In his tutoring sessions, Guillaume specializes in the math portion of the SAT/ACT as well as the SAT Subject tests in Math and Physics.

Daniel Howell

Daniel earned his B.A. in Literature at Harvard with an honors destination as well as summa cum laude for his thesis and highest honors in field. Currently, Daniel is a Ph.D. student at NYU in Comparative Literature in the dissertation stage. Since graduating from Harvard, he has gathered extensive experience teaching undergraduate humanities courses at NYU on literature, philosophy, and history. In addition to university teaching, he has worked teaching ESL in a number of different countries (Chile, Germany, Japan). In his tutoring sessions, Daniel tutors towards the TOEFL, ACT, SAT Verbal and Math, as well as the SAT subject tests in Math 2, Literature, Spanish, German, and US & World History.

David Rice

David Rice graduated from Harvard University in 2010, having studied film and literature. His first novel has just been published, and his animations have been shown at festivals around the world. He has taught animation at Harvard and creative writing at the Gotham Writers' Workshop. He has tutored in NYC and San Francisco across all subjects, but specializes in English, writing, math, science and test prep. He tutors towards the SAT, the ACT, and the SAT II Literature tests.

Elizabeth Stepp

Elizabeth has a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Kentucky in addition to her Bachelors degree from Vanderbilt University. She is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU in the prestigious Courant Institute of Mathematics. and also holds an adjunct position at Hunter College in the Mathematics department. In her tutoring sessions, she preps students for the SAT, ACT, and SAT subject tests in Math 2 and Physics.
